'IL SEGRETO' Restaurant & beach bar - Vrsar

This is the best place to eat and drink in Vrsar. The other places we were at in Vrsar couldnt come close to this place when it comes to food or service. Everyone in the staff are on their toes absolutely everey minute to serve you and the food as mentioned are top notch. The place is also located directly at the beach. Only thing missing is an own toilette for the restaurant which it should have regards to the other qualities this restaurant has. Thanks so much to the staff for making our vacation one to remember.

The name makes you think about a small, cozy place, but it's not. Anyway, the food is good, and the view is great. The parking lot is paid.

We just had one of the best fish dishes ever at Il Segretto in Vrsar. The fish was incredibly fresh, bursting with rich flavor and perfect texture. The accompanying vegetable sides were cooked to perfection, complementing the main dish beautifully. A special mention goes to our waiter, who expertly filleted a large fish into four portions right at our table – a display of real skill and professionalism. We left the restaurant absolutely delighted. If you're in Vrsar and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Il Segretto is a must.

We were there 2 times. The first time we were waiting for 15 minutes to give us the menu. The negative is that the service didn't speak english. Positive is that both times the food was tasty, they also gave us ,,compliment" after we payed - rakija - that was very nice finish of our lunch.

The service personell is really nice and we nearly immediatly got a place for two even though we did not reserve a place. You get complimentary bread as a starter and after ordering the food is served really fast considering for crowded it was. Outside there is a great view to enjoy. Inside it is not uncomfortable either but maybe a bit loud. The fish was done perfectly and the side ( potatoes and chard ) was ok. Some part of it was really salty such that it was nearly inedible. I even bit on a literal salt crystal. Otherwise the flavour was fine. The fried fish was also tasty overall. The mixed salad comes with tomatos, corn, cucumbers and a lot of cabbage. There is no dressing on it, you season it on the table to your taste. Overall we enjoyed the visit and liked the people working there but maybe in the future the chef could use a little less salt on all dishes but especially the chard. Then I would definitely consider giving 5 stars for the price at which the food is offered.

Fantastic place absolutely loved it here, food was outstanding, went a few times and loved the fish platter, the truffle il segreto burger and the tastiest lava cake! Great staff, very accommodating with our newborn and two lively miniature huskies. Goran and others (didn’t catch other names), did an excellent job and made us feel very welcome.

Great experience eating at this beautiful beach side restaurant with breathtaking views of the sea and Vrsar archipelago. Service was very friendly and the servers were very attentive. They all work together to look after guests. The Seafood Padella was excellent! Very good sized portion with fresh, local seafood! Aura cocktails were also great. Highly recommended.

Edit two years late, still great! Thanks guys, we'll see you next year for sure! Fantastic staff, waiters very attentive. Food is great, we became regulars when we first tasted veal soup. In four days we had 4 meals at this place and didn't find any flaws.
